My main goal is to finish my two-year degrees in Pre-Law and General Education from Calhoun.  Then, I will transfer to the University of Alabama where I hope to finish out my second two-year stint by graduating and eventually attending Alabama's Law School.  I hope to run for some sort of political office someday, somewhere, and sometime down the road.

I am a part of Baptist Campus Ministry when I can make it, and I also sometimes help the SGA out if they need it.  I am also a Work-Study here at Calhoun in the Physical Education department.

Community and/or Other Activities

I am highly involved in my youth group at Brownsboro Baptist Church in Brownsboro, AL.  I am a part of a community outreach program at Brownsboro that buses kids from less fortunate families to Brownsboro to attend church services on Sunday and Wednesday nights.  I am also part of a Mentoring program at my old middle school, Central Middle School.  This program helps to encourage the child in life, academics, and whatever else they need to be supported in.

Hobbies/Interests:

I love the University of Alabama, I love the athletics, the pageantry of the University, and the rich history and future for the University of Alabama.  I am a sports fanatic: football, basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, hunting, and fishing.  I really like to spend time with God and read my Bible when I have the opportunity to.  I just am really an all-around type person that likes almost everything.

I served five years as my church's women's ministry director planning Bible studies, conferences, and retreats.  I resigned my position at the church to go back to college and fulfill a lifelong dream and goal.  I continue to serve as needed in my church.  I serve as the team manager on my son's club soccer team.  I volunteer at my children's schools as needed.

Hobbies/Interests:

I love to read!!!  My favorite place to spend time is at the beach with my family and friends.

Career Goals

To go into the Navy and go into EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) or Search and Rescue while also working at getting my masters degree in physical therapy and as a personal trainer. I enjoy helping people reach their goals and pushing them beyond their limits. I plan on graduating with a degree in General Education, Law/Pre-Law, and Physical and Health Education, then return to finish my degrees in English and Business.

I have been a member of Phi Theta Kappa since 2005, and in 2006 I served the chapter as Vice President, and I look forward to serving PTK in 2007 as the President for the Decatur Campus. This is my second year serving as a Warhawk. I am also involved with SGA (Student Government Association-the student body), last year I served as a Club Rep for PTK and this year I am serving as a Senator. I am also a participant of many other student activities that deal with student services.

I attend Decatur Baptist Church, and I participate in the Red Cross Blood Drives.

Hobbies/Interests:

I enjoy helping people and playing sports. I am in the process of finishing up my certifications as a personal trainer. I enjoy hanging out with friends, listening to music, working out at the gym and taking life one day at a time.

Student Ministry Planning Team (2 years), Vacation Bible School Assistant (4 years), Children's Choir Camp Assistant (3 years).  Other organizations I have volunteered for include: Pregnancy Resource Center, Austin High School, Central Park Baptist Church (including two summer mission trips).  I received the President's Volunteer Service Award through the Morgan County Volunteer Center for the past two years.

Hobbies/Interests:

In my free time, I enjoy being with my friends, listening to music, playing tennis, doing mission work, being a part of a girl's weekly Bible study group, and shopping.

I'm an active member in Central Park Baptist church, and participated in several of their local and foreign mission programs.

Hobbies/Interests:

I listen to a lot of music and watch the History channel occasionally. I have a very strong interest in the ancient world.  I'd also like to study German again.

In high school I was part of the Jr. Civitan organization, secretary of the National Honor Society, a member of the Senior Girls Society, and a member of the Yearbook staff for 2 years. I was on the Robotics team for Priceville for 5 years. I also played in the Concert Band for 8 years and was on the Color Guard team for 3 years during the marching band season.

I was an active member in my youth group, until I turned 18, and was a volunteer with the Morgan County Volunteer Center. I am a volunteer in the Big Brother and Big Sister organization of Morgan County.

Hobbies/Interests:

I love to read. I do a little bit of scrap-booking. I also enjoy spending time with my "Little Sister" in the Big Brother and Big Sisters Program.

I'm really involved with my church Memorial Parkway. We do a lot of work around the community like help the elderly with cutting their yards, raking leaves, etc. I have also been on mission trips to Colorado, Nevis, and Georgia.

Hobbies/Interests:

I like to play pretty much any kind of sport, but mainly baseball, basketball, and golf.

I'm very interested in sports and I would have to say my favorite one is football. I've played that since I was 6. I'm also interested in building. I've helped make different pieces of furniture for my parents and my church. That's how I became interested in getting into architecture or civil engineering.
