Tutoring Services Available
Student success is our number one priority at Calhoun Community College. Every effort is made to provide students with programs and services that can assist them in obtaining and reaching their academic goals.
Several options are available to provide free tutorial service for our students, including:
The Emerging Scholars Program
A Federally funded TRIO program designed to provide guidance to first-generation and low-income students. The program provides opportunities for academic development, assists students with basic college requirements, and serves to motivate students towards the successful completion of their postsecondary education.

On Campus One-on-One Tutoring
Free one-on-one and small group math tutoring available!!! For more information, please visit the Developmental Math Lab, Harris Hall room 347 or contact Marty Kellum (256) 306-2859. The Math Lab in Harris Hall room 347 and Math/Science/Administration room 120 are also available for non-appointment homework assistance during normal business hours.
Free one-on-one and small group math tutoring available by appointment in the Huntsville Campus Math Lab, room 133. Appointments must be made in person in the Math Lab. See one of the lab assistants or Mr. Rodney Alford in the lab for more information. General assistance and homework help is also available on a walk-in basis.
