Publications Development/Graphic Design
Development/Design of Printed Publications:
Printed brochures, booklets, flyers, posters, etc. may be created as needed
for specific events or programs. Please complete the Public Relations "Request
for Services" Form and attach a hard copy of the text (if it is extensive,
such as for brochures and booklets, a Microsoft Word document should be provided
as well, either on disk or via e-mail), and any photos (either prints or
digital). Time to create, proof and print the project varies, depending on the
size, quantity, and complexity of the project. Please refer to formatting text

Text for Publications. Cost for actual printing will be the
responsibility of the requesting department/division.
Logo/Graphics for Special Projects:
A logo or special graphics may be created for ongoing or annual projects or
campaigns. Examples include AmeriCorps, Computing Olympiad, Partners in Progress
campaign, Upward Bound, School-to-Career, maps, etc. Please complete the Public
Relations "Request for Services" Form and call

discuss ideas and deadlines.
Production of Specialty Items:
Large format posters, signs, table cards, banners, etc. may be produced in
small quantities (10 or less for large posters). Posters may be mounted on foam
core for an additional charge. Please complete the Public Relations "Request for Services" Form and attach a hard copy.
Please refer to Formatting Text for Publications. There is a cost for the production of these items.
Reprint of Items Already Produced:
If a printed publication has been previously designed in this department and
requires changes, please mark changes on a copy of the publication and submit to
Graphic Design with a Printing Request. Changes will be made and sent to
Printing Services for printing. Cost for actual printing will be the
responsibility of the requesting department/division.
NOTE:
Design and Layout is provided as a service through the Public
Relations Department. All printing and/or supplies are charged through Printing Services and a Printing Request must accompany all printed publications and
posters. All publications are proofed and must be approved by the Director of Public Relations before printing.
