* The major course requirements for the MMT degree can be validated through several
sources. Active duty soldiers may use the AARTS (Army/American Council on Education
Registry Transcript System) or a DD form 295 to verify military training. Retired service
members may use DD form 214 discharge documents to verify service related training.
The maximum non-traditional credit for associate degrees at CCC is 30 semester (45
quarter) hours, however, we do allow the MMT degree applicants up to 42 semester (63
quarter) hours. This will allow the service member to receive an associate degree with as
little as 22 semester (33 quarter) hours of actual college course work.
Only 3 semester (5 quarter) hours are required with CCC to be eligible for a SOCAD (Servicemembers Opportunity
College Associate-Degree). This makes the MMT degree one of the most accessible degree
programs offered.
