Directions to the Redstone Arsenal Site
of Calhoun Community College

From Birmingham:

• Take I-65 North to I-565 (Huntsville/Decatur exit #340)

• Follow signs to Huntsville (eastbound I-565) for approximately 15 miles

• Take Research Park Boulevard (Formerly Rideout Road), Exit 14

• When approaching Gate 9, move into the right lane for visitors.
• You must pull over to the right to the Visitor's Welcome Center for a temporary pass.
• You MUST show your drivers license, proof of insurance on your vehicle, and tag registration EACH time you enter the Arsenal.
• After vehicle inspection at the Center, go through the gate and get in the left lane.
• Approximately ¼ mile from the gate you will make a U turn.
• After making the U turn, take the first right onto Goss Road , approximately ¼ mile.
• Stay on Goss to the second stop light and turn right onto Vincent Road , approximately 2 miles from Gate 9 to Vincent. There is a Shoppette service station on the right that you are NOT allowed to use.
• Go .7 miles till you see the fire station on the left and the emergency signal over the road.
• Turn left onto Red Eye just before you get to the fire station.
• Turn right behind the fire station onto Snooper.
• Take the first left onto Little John.
• Turn left into second parking lot for Bldg. 3343 and 3344. They are on the left about half way down the parking lot.
• Students, excluding DOD and military personnel, are NOT allowed to use any facilities on the Arsenal except Burger King at the corner of Goss and Vincent Roads and restaurants located in the lobby of the PX on Vincent Road .

From Nashville:

• Take Highway 31 North/Highway 20 East to the left (next to the Holiday Inn in Decatur)

• After crossing the Tennessee River bridge, follow Highway 20 as it veers to the right

• Highway 20 turns into I-565
