OBJECTIVES

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

1.9. Increase student retention to graduation within three years for AA/AS majors by 15% through institutionalization of redesign process and improved use of technology.

Baselines: 1.9a. 0% prepared as of Fall 2003.  1.9b. No courses redesigned as of fall 2003 and no degree can be obtained by distance learning in fall 2003.  1.9c. Three year retention to graduation of FTIC cohort of AA/AS degree seeking students in fall 2000 14% as of June 2003. 

1.9a. All full-time and 75% of part-time faculty teaching in AA/AS fields will have participated in professional development regarding course redesign and use of technology by December 1, 2008.

1.9b. Group V (eight courses) redesigned to provide AS Elementary/ Secondary Education  degree with campus-based and distance learning options by September 30, 2009, as documented by course syllabi and degree plans in college catalog.

1.9c. The three year graduation rate for the fall  2006 FTIC AA/AS majors will increase over that of the fall 2000 baseline by 15%.by September 30, 2009.

2.5. Increase student satisfaction with instruction and student services as reported on the Noel Levitz SSI to exceed the 2009 SSI national comparison group by September 30, 2009

Baselines: 2.5a. Service baseline will be established fall 2004.  2.5b. No students have Virtual College access as of fall 2003.  2.5c. Noel Levitz SSI 2009 comparison results will be provided with CCC 2009 SSI results.

2.5a. Staff increased response rate for student requests to one day average by September 30, 2009.

2.5b. Percentage of AA/AS degree seeking students using the Virtual College  increases to 85% by September 30, 2009.

2.5c. Student satisfaction with instructional effectiveness, student services and concern for the individual on the Noel Levitz SSI exceeds student satisfaction reported for the national comparison group in these categories by September 30, 2009.
