OBJECTIVES

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

1.5. Increase the knowledge of faculty regarding course redesign and use of technology by September 30, 2007.

Baselines: 10% of faculty utilizes multi-mode course delivery, including web-delivery and 5% of faculty has attended professional development on other topics listed as of fall 2003.

1.5a. Thirty additional faculty members completed redesign workshops by December 15, 2006.
1.5b. At least 75% of full-time faculty and 35% of adjunct faculty have participated in workshops on student assessment, diverse learning styles and web-based instruction by Sep.30, 2007.

1.6. Increase student success and student satisfaction with instructional effectiveness in Group I, Group II, and Group III courses by September 30, 2007.

Baselines: 1.6a No courses designed as planned in fall 2003.
1.6b and 1.6c. Student success in all courses taught in fall 2003, has been computed from the archived grading file.
1.6d.Noel Levitz SSI 2003 Instructional Effectiveness subset baseline on file.

1.6a. Group III (ten courses in general education core and developmental studies) redesigned in campus-based and distance learning modes by December 15, 2006.
1.6b. The student success rate (A,B,C) increased by 5% in the pilot of Group III  courses for spring 2007 as compared to the fall 2003 baseline.

1.6c. Group II courses achieve 10% increase in success rate by Sept.30, 2007.

1.6d. Student satisfaction with instructional effectiveness in Group I. II and III courses increases by 10% on Noel Levitz SSI as compared to the baseline by September 30, 2007.

2.3 Increase individual student support and increase year to year retention for AA/AS students by 10% by September 30, 2007.

Baselines: 2.3a. 0% of AA/AS students use online degree audit as of fall 2003.  2.3b. Student communications response rate will be baselined in fall 2004.  2.3c First time in college student retention, fall 2000 to fall 2001 was 46%.

2.3a. Percentage of AA/AS students who have online degree audits increases to 85% by September 30, 2007.
2.3b. Customer Relations system improves response time to student via phone, web, and mail by 50% by Sept. 30, 2007.
2.3c. First time in college AA/AS degree student retention increased by 10% for fall 2006 to fall 2007 as compared to the baseline.
