*NOTE: BE SURE TO INDICATE THE AWARD FOR
WHICH YOU ARE APPLYING.
SKD encourages contestants to attend the annual convention so they may receive their award(s) in person. Travel funds for convention are, of course, sometimes hard to find. A few ideas for generating money to help offset the cost are to discover festivals held in your area and set up a booth to sell a product, hold a campus yard sale. Take advantage of any fundraising activities in your area or on your campus. Don’t forget to just ASK the college to help fund this convention, either.
We look forward to receiving applications for these scholarships and awards. Direct any questions to the national office at 256-306-2720 or shb@calhoun.edu. |
