Syllabi/Course Information
Beginning with Spring Semester, distance education faculty will be required to post their syllabi on webct for potential/current students. You may find this helpful for other courses as well, since this option will also be available to instructors in traditional courses.
Links to the old preview sites are still available for the fall semester, please see the fall schedule. Links to the preview sites are found with each distance education course listing. NOTE: this is a pdf document so the hyperlinks won't be underlined or in blue, but if hold your mouse over the url, you will notice it turns into a hand pointing (indicating a link), if you click on the link it will open in the browser window.
Find the Syllabus/info for Your Course
To see if there is a syllabus and/or preview information for the course you are interested in, go to http://webct6.calhoun.edu/; scroll down and click on “View Course List.” Please keep in mind that not all courses have a syllabus posted. To see preview sites for fall semester distance education courses, please use the fall schedule link above.
Scroll down and click on the course prefix that you are interested in. Let’s say you want to see a preview site for BIO 103 web course.
On the next screen you will see a list of all Biology courses. You will need to select the appropriate semester (07FA is for Fall 2007).
You will then see a list of all the BIO 103 sections for the Fall 2007.
A hyperlink for any information that the instructor may have available will be underlined and highlighted in blue.
NOTE: Once you've looked up one course, you can use the drop down box to select a new area and press the right green arrow.
