Useful information for incoming students
The following are items that will need to be on file in the
Application for Admission to the EMS Program (available from the EMS Office)
· Copy of valid driver’s license
· Copy of CPR card (card must be approved by Program staff)
· Verification of physical examination
· Hepatitis B vaccine series verification or waiver
· Two step PPD test
· College entrance exam scores
· Copy of health insurance card or waiver
Items that will be distributed during the first week of class
Basic-EMT Students must be registered for at least EMS 116 and EMS 117. Any alteration from this minimum must be approved by EMS Faculty.

Prospective Paramedic students have the option of seeking a certificate or associate degree. It is recommended that all students enrolling in EMS courses and REQUIRED that students enrolling for EMP courses make an appointment with a member of the EMS faculty prior to enrollment for counseling.
