Requirements
Participation in the Cooperative Education Program is open to students who are currently enrolled in Calhoun and have an overall 2.5 grade point average, have a 3.0 grade point average in subjects directly related to the major area of study, and have completed at least one full semester (12 semester hours) at Calhoun.
Application Procedures
Students who wish to be considered for the Business/CIS Cooperative Education Program should complete the following steps:
- Prepare a resumé and send it electronically as an e-mail attachment to the Coop Coordinator (e-mail below)
- Be recommended in writing by an instructor in the student's major (instructor should send letter of recommendation through campus mail or as an e-mail attachment; the letter should be on Calhoun’s letterhead)
- Contact the Cooperative Education Office for an appointment. (Be sure to verify your GPA before calling for an appointment.)
