About the Instructor – Frazier Douglass has been an avid tent camper for over forty years. He began camping in 1967 with an old Army canvas tent with two wooden center poles and no floor. He used cots and blankets for sleeping and Army mess kits for cooking. Over the next forty years, he owned and used over twenty different tents and has camped throughout the south, west and upper mid-west. In the summer of 1974, he spent about 45 days camping with his wife and two young sons in Canada, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Indiana, Alabama, and Florida. In the summers of 1995 through 1997, he served as the campground host at Brigham County Park campground near Madison, Wisconsin.
In 1998, he began camping on his motorcycle trips and began looking for functional gear that packs into small spaces. In 2008, he published a book entitled, Lightweight Camping for Motorcycle Travel. This book is available through Amazon.com and several other online bookstores. Currently, he writes gear reviews and camping tips for TrailSpace.com and Amazon.com.

Note: Footwear Suggestions - Athletic shoes and other high traction rubber soled shoes are not recommended as they will impede proper foot action. Leather soled shoes (men’s dress shoes) or composite soles with a similar feel to leather (many women’s shoes) are usually quite adequate. Open toed shoes are not recommended for a beginning class and strapless open back shoes are not recommended as the shoe needs to cling securely to the heel of the foot. |

This class explores the process of face construction, seeking out little (and big) aspects of faces that make them unique and then putting it all together to create an explosion of fun that will have your friends and family running for cover when they see you pick up a pencil. This class is guaranteed to loosen up the most inhibited of artists, beginner or professional.
Materials - each student will need:
- Two drawing pencils (One an H, one a B; any number on the pencil is fine)
- An inexpensive set of artist quality color pencils. Prismacolor is a good brand.
- Kneaded eraser
- Sharpie marker, (thin tip, permanent)
- Inexpensive 12 inch ruler
- A pad of newsprint (11 x 14 or most economical buy)
- A pad of (11 x 14) drawing paper
