 NJCAA announces Calhoun Softball Players as Distinquished Academic All-Americans
Haley Keenum and Hollye Keenum were announced as National Junior College Athletic Association Distinquished Academic All-Americans. Distinquished Academic All-Americans require a 3.90 GPA to qualify. The twin daughters of Noel and Janice Keenum of Tanner, Alabama become the 8th and 9th Academic All-Americans for the Calhoun Softball Program in their 4th year of fastpitch softball competition. Haley has received a academic scholarship to attend Athens State University while Hollye plans to continue at Calhoun on an academic scholarship as a member of the the first Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
