First Annual Alumni Game -- October 27, 2007

The Calhoun Community College Fastpitch Softball Alumni remain undefeated in the newly constructed softball stadium on campus.  The Lady Warhawks played two games in the Spring Season on campus and both were victories for 10 sophomores.  Former players returned to campus for the first annual Alumni Game on October 27th.  The former players from the 2005 & 2006 season scored in the 4th inning against this year’s squad to win 2-1. 

Following the game, seven former players signed their name to Lady Warhawks mural in the 3rd base dugout.  Danville artist, Lori Hensley, created the Lady Warhawk mural.  Lori’s daughter, Megan, was a 2007 Calhoun Softball graduate.   Former players must complete all graduation requirements for a degree to be invited to sign the mural.  In their first two years of fastpitch softball, the Lady Warhawks have graduated 11 players.
