I love having someone at school that is pulling for me and notices when I accomplish my goals. They give me support when things aren't going right and when I need that shove to keep going. Thanks, SSS!

Carey Walker

Nikki Walker

My name is Nikki Walker and I am a married mother of three. I made the decision to attend Calhoun after I received my GED in 2005. It was getting a little tough to help my son with his homework when I didn't know how to do the problems myself. I am currently working towards my Associate Degree in Paralegal studies. I am also a member of the Hispanic Club. It has been a really hard and trying year for me. I have run into many obstacles along the way, but with the help and support of the Emerging Scholars faculty, I will earn my degree.
