Meet the Student Advisory Committee
	Jennifer Hitt Hi! I'm Jennifer Hitt, a single mom with two sons ages 20 & 12. I have been a member of Emerging Scholars since Fall 2004. My major is Elementary Education and I plan to transfer to Athens State. Emerging Scholars has given me self confidence, not only in everyday situations, but in with classes and staff. I attribute my success in college to the Emerging Scholars Program.
	Lauren McLaws My name is Lauran McLaws I am a second year student. I the treasurer of PTK, a peer mentor, a student ambassador, a volunteer tutor for SSS. My major is Behavioral Science/Sociology. My interests are writing poetry, raising birds, helping people.
	Evelyn Sisk "Hi, my name is Evelyn Sisk. I am 43 years old and the mother of five children and three grandchildren. I have been attending Calhoun for a couple of years now and love it. I am majoring in Business. My desire is to own my own business someday."
