Calhoun Community College to Celebrate
MLK Day With Special Tribute and March
 Calhoun Community College will pay tribute to slain civil rights legend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a special presentation entitled "Keeping His Dream Alive, A Tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr." on Thursday, January 11, 2007. The celebration will begin at 10 a.m. on the college's Decatur campus with a memory march led by Oscar-awarding documentary filmmaker and Calhoun adjunct instructor, Dr. Sonnie Hereford, III, starting at the Aerospace Training Center and ending at the Chasteen Student Center. The famous "I Have a Dream" speech will be delivered by Ernest Williams, an instructor in Calhoun's mathematics department. A reception and musical selections will follow.
