Military & Civilian Job Fair
Planned For Calhoun-Decatur Campus

Calhoun Community College along with the Decatur Career Center, the Huntsville Career Center, and the Shoals Career Center, will host the Tennessee Valley Military and Civilian Job Fair on Tuesday, May 16, 2006, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Aerospace Training Center Exhibition Hall on Calhoun Community College’s Decatur campus.

Employers from across the North Alabama area will participate.  Abott Wood, Director of the Decatur Career Center said, “We have been planning this for quite some time.  A military and civilian job fair of this magnitude has been needed in this area for several years.”  Participating employers include:  BP, Coast Personnel Services, Hartselle Police Department, IMS, Inc., Kelly Services, Liberty National Life Insurance Co., MTA, Inc., Mutual Savings Life Insurance, Product Action International, LLC, Quantum Research International, Inc., Techni-Core Professionals, West Corp., and WestWind Technologies, Inc.  The job fair will include presentations in the ATC Lecture Hall on USERRA (The Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994), “HireVets First,” and “Still Serving Vets.”
