Calhoun Community College
to Hold
2nd Softball Tryouts
Calhoun Community College will conduct a second round of tryouts for its new women’s softball team on Thursday, June 30, at 5:30 p.m. at Athens High School.
College scholarships are available for players. Interested persons should provide their own equipment and will be asked to provide personal information and sign a liability release. In addition, they will need to provide the name of the high school they attended as well as the high school coach’s name and contact number. Forms can be found on the College’s website, www.calhoun.edu.
Tryouts are open to all high school graduates, current Calhoun Community College students, and prospective college students. Athletes who have made a verbal or written commitment to another college or university must provide a written release from that institution’s baseball coach or softball coach to participate in the Calhoun Community College tryouts. The institution’s coach may verbally contact Dr. Keenum prior to the tryout date.
