Calhoun Community College
Offering ASE Certification Exams
Automotive professionals looking to become certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence can register to take computer-based ASE certification exams being offered through February 13, 2005, at Calhoun Community College’s ACT Center.
A total of 20 ASE exams will be available at Calhoun in the computer-based format, in three areas: Automobile/Light Truck, Advanced Automobile Engine Performance, and Automobile Parts. ASE certification is a professional credential recognized in many automobile maintenance and repair positions. Today, there are more than 400,000 ASE-certified professionals working in dealerships, service stations, collision repair shops, auto parts stores, machine shops, schools, and other institutions throughout the country.
