Calhoun Community College Announces
In-State Tuition Available for Students from Selected
Tennessee Counties

Calhoun Community College, Decatur, Alabama, announced today that students from selected counties in Tennessee may qualify for in-state tuition rates when attending the college located in Decatur , Alabama . The announcement is the result of guidelines established by the Alabama State Board of Education.

Current in-state tuition at Calhoun is $90 per credit hour. To be eligible for this tuition rate, students must reside in one of the following Tennessee counties: Bedford, Franklin, Giles, Lawrence, Lincoln, Marshall, Maury, Moore or Wayne. According to the Board of Education policy, in determining Non-Resident, In-State tuition eligibility, the burden of proof lies with the applicant for admission. Students should contact the Calhoun Admissions Office for more information on acceptable forms of proof.

Registration for Calhoun's 2004 fall semester is currently underway. Fall semester classes begin August 23. For more information, contact the Calhoun Admissions Office at 256/306-2500.
