Calhoun's Adult Education Program to Honor GED Completers  

The Adult Education Program at Calhoun Community College will conduct a graduation ceremony for recent successful completers of the General Education (GED) program on Tuesday, May 11, 2004, to begin at 7:00 pm in the Kelley Gymnasium on Calhoun’s Decatur campus.

According to program director, Chris Miller, over 170 graduates of the program will participate in the ceremony.  Participants in the GED program come from across Calhoun’s four-county service area of Madison, Morgan, Limestone and Lawrence counties.

Speaker for the service is Dr. Ron Russell, education specialist for the Alabama Department of Postsecondary Education.
