Calhoun Community College
Receives Daniel Foundation Grant

Calhoun Community College recently received a $30,000 contribution from the Daniel Foundation of Alabama to buy equipment for the school's nursing program. The nursing department will use the contribution to purchase twenty Human Patient and Pediatric Patient Simulators which will give nursing students hands-on experience with the most up-to-date models in the field.

The Daniel Foundation, located in Birmingham , is listed in the top 50 foundations in the state of Alabama . For fiscal year 2003, The Daniel Foundation had assets in the amount of $99,688,202 with total gifts given throughout the state topping $4 million dollars.
