Calhoun to Offer Conversational Spanish Course

Calhoun Community College will offer a 16-hour “Conversational Survival Spanish” course beginning May 6, 2003, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the ACT Center, Building 22, on the Decatur campus. 

The focus of the course will be conversational communication with Spanish speakers and topics will include greetings, taking/making phone calls, setting/canceling/changing appointments, getting contact information, understanding the Spanish naming system, ways to communicate when you don’t understand, and much more.

The cost of the course is $150 per person (instructional handouts will be provided.)  Minimum class size is five, and re-payment for the course will be due once minimum enrollment is achieved.  For more information, or to reserve a spot, please call 256-306-2522 by April 24, 2003.
