Calhoun's Public Relations Department Receives Awards for Outstanding Marketing Efforts
The Public Relations department at Calhoun Community College was recently recognized for its outstanding efforts by the Alabama College System Public Relations Association (ACSPRA).
During ACSPRA’s annual conference held last week, Calhoun’s Public Relations department received 5 awards in ACSPRA’s Pyramid Awards competition. According to Calhoun Public Relations Director Janet Kincherlow-Martin, a past president of ACSPRA, Calhoun picked up three first place Pyramid awards, one Award of Achievement, and one Award of Merit.
The College was presented awards in the following categories: Pyramid Awards in the Newsletter One or Two Color category, the Student Publications category for the college’s literary magazine, The Muse, and in the Potpourri category for the college’s campus map. An Award of Achievement was presented in the Viewbook category and an Award of Merit in the Newsletter category.
