Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of one (1) year (48 quarter hours or 32 semester hours) of postsecondary education from an accredited institution with coursework in education, business, or computer related field is required.
- Proficiency in the use of Internet, email, and computer software programs (e.g. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is required.
- Ability to answer the phone.
- Ability to be able to lift up to 20-30 pounds.
- Ability to work flexible hours between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday - Thursday.
- Ability to work on short notification as needed.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of office information is required.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, other college employees, and the public is required.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
- Prior test proctoring experience preferred.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform testing operations with sophisticated computer software.
- Perform data entry in computer reporting system when students require help.
- Proctor academic tests according to faculty member specifications.
- Implement and maintain record keeping system for materials involved in test administration.
- Promptly notify and work with appropriate Calhoun staff member regarding equipment or software problems, usual student incidents, or any factors affecting the security or integrity of the administration of examinations.
- Must be able to operate and maintain video equipment.
Start Date: Immediately after Deadline
Work Hours: various, between 9 am – 8 pm
Hours per week: 19
Salary: $8.00 to $ 10.00, DOE
