The Maine Event is an image essay featuring 30 large format digital pieces concentrating on the coast of Maine.
Calhoun Adjunct Instructor John T. Davis created the collection during a trip to Maine during the summer of 2004. The entire collection was created using the Nikon D100 digital camera, adjusted using Adobe Photoshop CS and printed on Epson 2200 and 1280 printers.
There will be an artist reception and gallery lecture on Monday January 24, 2005 at 4:30PM. Come meet the artist as he discusses the technology and stories behind the images.
The Calhoun Community College Fine Arts Gallery is located in the Fine Arts Building on the southern end of campus.
