STUDENT FINANCIAL SERVICES

Applying for Financial Aid at Calhoun

To be eligible for student aid (grants, work-study, loans and scholarships), you must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Renewal Application for Federal Student Aid each year, after January 1. The application may be mailed to the federal processing center or sent by accessing FAFSA Express at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. It is advisable that you complete your federal tax returns before making application.

The priority deadline for receipt of FSEOG, Federal College Work-Study, and Alabama State Grant is April 1. Students whose financial aid files are complete by the deadline will be considered first. After the deadline, other eligible students will be considered, if funds are available.
