Calhoun student Melanie Landers named a 2005 New Century Scholar by Phi Theta Kappa as the highest scoring student from Alabama in the All-USA Academic Team competition.

In October 2004, broke ground for the college’s new 64,600 square foot Health Sciences Center, which will become home to all nursing and health-related programs at Calhoun.

Six Calhoun students recognized as top two-year college students in the nation

Surgical Technology program recognized among the top 10% of programs nationally, noting that 100% of program graduates passed the national certification examination for surgical technologists.
