Calhoun to Offer Wastewater Certification Course
Calhoun Community College will offer a Wastewater Operator Certification Course on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning November 19, 2013 through the College’s Workforce Solutions department. The 80 hour course is designed for the individual interested in obtaining an Alabama wastewater certification, enabling them to pursue a career as a wastewater operator with the municipalities in Alabama. The cost for the course is $799.
The course will utilize material taken from the Sacramento Manuals, along with lectures, handouts, and a review of the mathematics associated with wastewater treatment. Sixteen hours of the course will be dedicated to the state exam review in preparation for an individual to sit for the Grades 1, 2, 3, & 4 Wastewater exams. A certificate will be awarded for hours of completion.
